About the Apps Tab
Use the main section of the page to view information about your apps. This information can help you identify and act on any potential issues. For instructions to perform various activities in this tab, see Manage Apps.
Left Panel for Filtering the Apps List
The options in the left column filter the results shown in the main table.
Tip: Hover over a partial policy name to see a tooltip with the complete name.
Filter by App Policies
Both custom and MTT Managed App Policies are available for filtering.
Tips for using the App Policies left panel list:
- Active policies display a green circle. Inactive policies are gray.
- Click a policy to update the apps table to show only the apps that violate the policy.
- The Edit button (pencil) opens the policy in the Compliance > App Policies tab.
Sideloaded Apps List
The Lists section shows a checkbox for a special Sideloaded apps list. Click this to see a list of apps that are on devices and were not loaded from an app store.
Tips:
- This list is in addition to the regular Apps list (described below); it is not a subset.
- Sideloaded app detection is provided by the MTP Mobile App for Android.
Apps Table
The main table in the Apps tab lists all the apps, including different versions, for the Organization.
Apps are initially sorted by the highest Risk Score at the top. You can use other columns to sort (see table below). Only one sort applies at any one time.
The count of results matching your selections from App Policies, Lists, and/or search filter displays at the top of the main section.

Menus and Controls
Add Menu
The Add (+) menu helps you add internal apps to the list. See Submit Apps for Analysis.
Tip: You can also add apps from the Appthority MTP App Catalog. See Add Apps to the Apps List from the Catalog.
Actions Menu
Use the Actions menu at the top of the main section to export or apply list actions to one or more of your apps.
Select the app or apps, then click Actions >
- Export to CSV: Exports the App Report data for the selected app to a CSV file. You can access the CSV file from the Notifications Manager.
Tip: You can also click an app to see its App Report and export that to a PDF or JSON file. See About the App Report. - Add/Remove Whitelist...: See White and Blacklist Apps.

Column Selector
The Column Selector popup lets you customize the columns you see in the list.
Search Filter
The Search filter narrows down the list of apps in the list. You can enter text to search by name, or use the filter popup options.
When you add a filter from this list, it displays along the top. Click its X to delete a filter.
