Manage Users

Users in Appthority MTP can have different permissions to support various activities. These permissions are managed using account types, also called user roles, in the Admin > Users tab.

User Account Types

Appthority MTP provides the following account types for customers:

  • Org Admin users can create and manage all objects in an Organization, including user accounts.
  • Policy Admin users can create policies and view apps and devices.
  • Standard users can add apps and view the app analysis information.
  • API users have access to the Appthority MTP API.

Tip: Appthority has an internal Appthority Admin role for setting up Organizations and various other "behind-the-scenes" activities. Your Customer Success Manager can help you should you need a new Organization.

To add or remove a user

  • To add a new user account, you send them an email invitation. See Add Users to an Organization.
  • To remove a user account, click Remove User (the X button).
